How much is a user licence?
Licencing starts from £12.75 per user. All pricing is EX VAT.
I already have a landline number, can I transfer it to Wintercomms?
Yes you can transfer it to us. We will need a copy of your latest landline invoice to process the port, which has a 30 day SLA.
Can we use a traditional style telephone handset?
Yes, our service is compatible with Yealink & Poly and will allow you to have desk handsets that are wired or wireless with headsets, if required.
Can I get any UK area telephone code?
Yes you can get any UK landline area code that starts 01, 02 or 03.
Can I get a national area telephone code?
Yes, we can offer you an 0330 or 0333 numbers to give your business a national presence, rather than local.
Will I get call charges?
Our product will give you unlimited calls to your UK mobile and landlines. Chargeable calls are things like premium rate (09), non-geo (0870) and international
Do I need internet or Wi-Fi?
We advise fibre connectivity to get the best call quality with our apps. Desktops are best hard-wired, but Wi-Fi is fine too. If you use the smartphone app, you can diverts calls to your mobile like a normal call which is a great way to still use the service if you have an internet outage
Can I cancel anytime?
We have a minimum contract period of 24 months, or 36 months for a discounted licence. If you cancel during this commitment period, the full remaining balance will be chargeable before we can allow your numbers to port to another provider
Can I pick my number?
Yes we can send you a list of numbers to choose from. Our platform has over 2 million business users, so numbers are on a first come, first serve basis – so we encourage you to pick a number and also a back-up, in case that is unavailable when the order is submitted. We do our best to minimise this.
Can we use the service before committing to anything?
Yes, and we encourage you to do so. We believe in our product and the feedback we have received, that we allow you to use the service without charge, for as long as you need, to test and get feedback from your teams.
Can teams dial out with all the numbers we have?
Yes, you can dial out with any of the numbers you have on the system, or restrict it. Users will also get their own unique direct dial, which they can use as a direct contact strategy for those customers or suppliers that need it.
Can I have greetings?
Yes we encourage open, busy, closed and marketing-on-hold audio to make the most of establishing your brand whenever a prospect or customer calls.
Can I have company voicemail?
Yes. We have voicemail to email as an option, or users can listen to the voicemails they receive from the app or telephone handset. If you have more than one departement, you can have voicemail boxes for each, to keep enquiries with those who are best to deal with them.
Can I use my number on Business WhatsApp?
Yes, that is what we use for our business, you can WhatsApp us directly on 02394 213800. We have created a guide to set this up, so feel free to ask for a copy. As Business WhatsApp is not our product, we reserve the right to say that at any point this may be unsupported by WhatsApp themselves.
